Weekend Weather Outlook

Well folks…what can I say? We are getting there. Since the clouds moved in Wednesday, we have been stuck is this dismal pattern thanks to a weakening area of Low Pressure south of New England which has helped to keep the clouds locked in place along with the occassional drizzle & fog. It is a similar story today, but this time the weather is on the move a bit. Still, winds are so calm that it will be a very slow progression towards improvement. Read more

It’s not going to be the easiest feat, but New England WILL eventually find brighter skies and pleasant fall weather. Improvement will seem far off on Friday, however, as clouds remain…

Well, this day had to come. What a day it will be. Absolutely gorgeous weather from the morning into the afternoon with temps warming into the 70’s. Be aware that clouds will be on the increase along with a cold front this afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy by sunset. As the clouds thicken, look for a few sprinkles or drizzle to develop. These clouds will stick around into Monday, as winds shift to the Northeast. Cooler and Cloudy conditions can be expected for our first day of fall. The Autumnal equinox is officially at 11:44 AM. High pressure from Canada will provide the chill, but also the dry air to erode the cloud cover and allow for plenty of beautiful into next week! More details inside.
Beautiful Last Weekend of Summer

High Pressure sitting right over us this morning is providing light winds and a chill to the valleys where temps have started in the 30’s along with early morning fog. Plenty of sunshine for this Saturday, except in Southeast Massachusetts, where stratocumulus clouds will prevail for most of the day. Onshore winds will keep it cool along the coast, with moderating temps inland.
Warmer southerly winds will prevent such a freefall in overnight temperatures tonight. After a sunny start to our Sunday, a cold front will approach during the afternoon. This will come with warming temps and increasing clouds ahead and along the front. Cooler air returns for the first day of fall.
