Severe thunderstorms for some…Wednesday brings a fall feel

It looks as though the severe weather that was recurring this summer will continue into the meteorological fall. A transition between summer air and fall air is marked by thunderstorms capable of strong, damaging winds, large hailstones, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning and torrential rain that will produce localized flash flooding.
